A FEW MORE ANSWERS
Why do you not offer a tooth paste instead of a tooth powder / dant manjan?
While a toothpaste makes the consumption very convenient, it would mean adding ingredients which are not natural. This is against the ethos of what we do. We continue to explore natural elements that might make the consumption easier and will soon come out with a product on those lines.
Why does the product not taste minty and make my mouth fresh?
A "minty" taste, while it makes you feel fresh, may not be the best for oral care. It could actually promote the growth of bacteria. Since Chyavan Danta does not have any artificial flavours, it tastes of the herbs it uses and ensure effective cleaning of the mouth to give healthy gums and teeth. Read our blog to know more
How does one get fluoride from your product?
We have added Himalayan salt to our product to ensure optimum fluoride consumption. Also, with the taste, it is unlikely that children will "eat" the Chyavan Danta and get excess fluorides to cause health issues.
Where can I read more about the ingredients?
A lot has been written about the ingredients in the ancient texts of Charak Samhita and Sushrut Sanhita. You can also click on the ingredient name to access some research papers from across the world about their benefits and effectiveness.
