Ayurveda has been a medicinal science since ancient times. There are many players that have introduced their products in this space; from a local Vaidya to entrepreneurs to conglomerates. Is there really a differentiator that we offer? Do we offer the best tasting products? No. Do we offer the best smelling products? No. What we offer is a range of products that deliver on the promise we make. How are we so confident? Let us tell you a little more about who we are.
The foundation of Chyavan Rishi AyurSiddha finds its inspiration from the ancient wellness concoctions. These were used by the then scientists, the “Rishis” to not only attain a healthy body but a body which would become the very basis to achieve greatness in every chosen walk of life.
While this knowledge has been passed on from one generation to another, it has been depleting rapidly. One of the biggest reason is the associated pride and scalability of business. Most of us think it is not “cool” to be an Ayurvedic doctor. And while most of agree that Ayurveda and Siddhaveda are very good, we seldom use these products, either because we want instant relief for all ailments or we do not want to look “old” in front of others. This further limits the market opportunities making the business unviable further pushing away the practitioners.
This is exactly what we, the founders, were also living as a lifestyle until one day about 3 years ago, one of us had a 3rd degree tear on the knee cartilage during a trek. As usual, the first go to person was the local physician who advised surgery. Seeing the plight of being in an alien location, the help suggested we see a local Vaidya. Skeptical, but with nothing to lose, we met him. As expected, he put a paste on the knee and gave him a concoction (“Jadi booti” if you will) to be had over the next 3 days. Obviously, he canceled the trek, but there has been no need for surgery ever since.
This intrigued us and we went back in search for him. After a month, we were able to meet Mr. Kanhaiya Das at The Chyavan Rishi Ashram at Barwaha in Madhya Pradesh. During our interactions with him we were awestruck to realise that it was as early as his twenties that Babaji (as he is fondly called) decided to become an ascetic and has been humbly serving anyone in need since.
Chyavan Rishi Ayur Siddha Private Limited is his way of paying tribute to the Chyavan Rishi lineage and keep the legacy alive. To support Babaji in his pursuit, we have a team of experts in marketing and supply chain to ensure the “magic of Ayurveda” reaches one and all while ensuring the best customer experience.
